Mr. Bright-Eyes

In this glorious land of tropical wonders, every day seems to bring a new surprise, reminding me that Mother Nature had a wicked sense of humor. This time I encountered this bizarre little fellow (NOT - he was about 2" long!) chilling in my kitchen sink ...with eyes that could light up a disco.

I had to wonder if it was trying to communicate with extraterrestrial lifeforms? Nonetheless, I gently scooped up Mr. Bright-Eyes and released him back into the wild; never to be seen again.
