Living in the Caribbean paradise of Costa Rica is a dream come true, a daily celebration of nature's wonders. Here I had the opportunity to witness the release of a rescued sea turtle back into the sea.

After being rescued from fishermen near Gandoca, Costa Rica, The Jaguar Rescue Center team lovingly patched up 8 injured sea turtles and when they were healthy again, they gently released them back to the ocean, one by one.

With no way of knowing if the turtle would thrive once more in the vastness of the ocean, it was a bittersweet and magical moment.
